Dust proofing concrete floor

Hi,

I have a concrete floor i want to seal so the area is clean of any dust etc. Is it ok to use a PVA glue/sealer??? and just paint it on? How many coats would it need?

I have found some at this URL: - would these be suitable or is there another better product to use?

You should be looking for a concrete primer, not adhesive

Agree that you should be using a sealer/primer rather than PVA adhesive; the standard offering remains water soluble as well so if it gets wet, it will re-emulsify. If you still want to use Wickes, something like this will be better;

What it was originally designed for;
• as wood glue - anyone who ever did woodwork at school will remember using it from a communal Fairy Liquid bottle
• as a binding agent for paper, used as a bookbinding adhesive, arts & craft glue
• It’s also a plasterer’s best friend (used to control suction & bond difficult surfaces) but in its standard form (water soluble) can be a tillers worst enemy without them even realising it.
