Dusty internal brick wall,how to seal.

Got this internal wall,plaster has already been removed and whitewashed by others.
It's very dusty to the touch,so can it be sealed ? Really want to keep the colour,not wanting a plaster finish just to seal in the dust.

Try Zinsser Gardz.

2 coats of gardz did the job,dried slightly darker but that's a bonus.

Anything wet at all will always make things slightly darker.
