Dyson cordless vacuum runs 5 sec after taking off charger, then stops. Put back on charger momentarily, take it off and it will run normally. Is there an internal switch that prevents the motor from running whilst on charge and is this sticking, preventing it running? Progressively getting worse.
Internet is full of suggestions about running problems when the vacuum needs emptying but nothing about this. Dyson helpline put me on hold until the connection dropped. Advice appreciated.
