ECU TESTING

Hi to you all .........

Im not an electrican nor pretend to be .......
I have just bought a new house and would like now how i can test my Ecu to make sure it works .
I what to make sure the fuse will trip when it detects a fault.

overload it til the fuse blows. then you kno that fuse works. only problem with that is you need to replace the fuse.... then that fuse wont be 'tested'.
 
Aren't Engine Control Units usually found in the engine compartments of cars?

If you overload it and it doesn't blow when it should, then you could die.
