Quick question guys.
Pumped open system.
Two new radiators in a corner and space VERY tight so:
1) Can I use an elbow - 1/2"BSP into rad to 15mm compression + isolation valve below, instead of a Lockshield?
2) If yes, does it matter whether I use a) long parallel thread b) long taper thread or c) short parallel thread with flange - these are the only brass fitting options I can find
3) if c) above should I use Boss White, PTFE & O ring, or what?
Thanks in advance.

If space is really tight get a ½" black m&f elbow and a straight valve.
