I recently bought a flat, but didn't realise how bad economy 7 heating is (unless the storage heaters are toast!). I had orginally called the management company about installing gas, they said at first okay, then changed their mind!!!!!
I found a site that offered, Amptec electric boilers, as an electric alternative. This seems really apealing, I'm just worried about the cost. Given that my last leccy bill was 140 quid (2 bedroom flat, with no heating in the kitchen or bathroom) and inadequate heating provided by the storage heaters, even if it is as expensive (but provides uniform heat) I woulndn't mind.
Just wanted to know if anyone has had experience of this system...
