I want to install an electric shower basically for use in a sink for handwashing etc. as no hot water is available.
Basic plumbing and electric installation is not a problem but I wondered if I could connect the hose to the hot water tap instead of using the supplied riser rail. The connection would fit but would mean the end of the hose was lower than the shower unit.
Obviously the spray-head is used for the vent but I wondered if I left the hot tap open perminantly and turned on and off from the shower would this work.
Expect this would invalidate the warrenty but as long as it works!
Has anyone ever tried this successfully? Any thoughts?
