Hello,
I have a 8kw Mira supreme, about 10-12 years old and is faulty ( it cuts out.)

I have bought a Mira Srint 8.5kw. Is it a easy(ish) straight job?. The wiring etc is all there ( the shower was fitted when the house was built)

I assume the cable is ok, the house has an RCD

Advice will be much appreciated as I hate baths!!

Sometimes, but only when the incoming cable and pipework connect at the same place and therefore no new holes are needed. Since they're both Mira showers the odds are in your favour.

Why would you make any assumptions when the effect of being wrong is a risk of burning down your house and anyone sleeping in it at the time?

My advice is to not have a bath.
