I HAVE PURCHASED A 'RAPITEST' ELECTRICAL MULTIMETER ;MAS830L
I WANT TO TEST THE CONTINUITY ON THE SINGLE SOCKET IN MY KITCHEN, TO SEE IF I CAN ADD MORE SOCKETS,
I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO READ THE MULTIMETERS DISPLAY,
WHAT SHOULD IT READ TO LET ME KNOW IF I CAN ADD MORE SOCKETS TO MY RADIAL CIRCUIT?

What are you hoping to determine with the meter? I don't mean "finding out if I can add more sockets" - at a lower level than that, if you knew how to use it to measure things, what would you measure, and what results would you expect to see if you could or could not add more sockets?

what are you trying to do?can you supply some more details of this socket, how it is wired now, what other sockets are on the same circuit, what the breaker/fuse is?
