Electrolux Aqualux 1000 washing machine - over filling

During the washing/rinsing cycle, as the washing maching is filling up, it doesn't stop - the water comes out of the soap compartment. Had to go through the drain programme 6 times to empty the machine. Partner had a look, couldn't see any blockages.

Any ideas why the washing maching just continues to fill the drum with water ?
 
Filter blocked, pump clogged up, pressure pipe blocked ,pressure switch u/s, inlet valve sticking.
