Hi guys,

I have the above washer dryer that isn't draining after it's reached the end of a cycle.

When it first started behaving funny, it appeared as though it was draining, and the washing wasn't soaking wet. However, we'd put the dryer on, and the clothes would come out wetter than when they went in.

Now however, we've had two washes where the water hasn't drained at all.

The machine filter is not blocked, and when I put a dryer cycle on after a wash, I can hear water draining away under the sink.

Any suggestions?

So water is definately draining out through the waste quick enough?
Is water syphoning back down the waste hose back into the machine?

Could also check that the inlet valve is not closing properly, remove the powder tray, dry inside the cavity and look for any running water whilst the machine is off.

Thanks I'll take a look

We were thinking about getting a new one anyway as it's nearly 10 years old, so if we do end up getting a new one, is it hard to install an integrated one, or is it just the same as a freestanding (except the door on the front of course).

Can't help/advise on fitting, sorry.

I think there are 2 types - semi-integrated and fully integrated.

Fully will fit inside a kitchen unit/carcass.
Semi will be freestanding and like you say need a cupboard door fitting, also it most likely does not have a lid/top so fits snug under the work surface.

Not entirely sure on this so you will need to check.
