Elson tank overflowing

The cold water (if this is the problem) will be passing from the cold supply across a tap or washing machine connection back up the hot water pipe and making the tank over flow, when your plumber comes explain that the ball valve has been changed several times and you think the problem lies elsewhere.

Thanks - will do - plumber from British Gas coming tomorrow. Strangely the overflow pipe has not been running today ??

There is the rub You won`t get a Plumber from BG - you`ll get a Gas fitter - They do employ plumbers , apparently . Make sure you get someone who knows about the water side of things more than the gas side

It was a young plumber from Dynorod who are now part of British Gas - he changed the ball valve again - said thats all he could do, strangely the tank did not overflow on Sunday, all very mysterious I have a local plumber coming to inspect the tank properly on Wed pm.
