The MOT is a farce. Ex wife took an Avensis two years ago, the guy advised that it needed front to rear brake pipes, rear suspension bushes etc. He passed it though. I looked at it and said they were ok. She took it back to him a year later, untouched, and he passed it again with no advisory.
