Can someone please tell me how you use emojis? If I use the ones on my phone keyboard they disappear once the message has been uploaded on the forum.

Yes that's because the Forum owners are a Totalitarian Dictatorship so you are forced to use only the crap ones available in the edit/write post box, click on the crappy smiley face and choose what you want. Even then they seem to randomly get inserted not where you want them.

The emojis are not sent as actual pictures, but rather as a code number to show a certain picture which the other person has on their system.
