Hi All,

I moved into a house a couple of years ago and have decided to board the loft. Looking up there I notice that there is an empty water tank which is still connected to a pipe. The house had an extension done before I moved in and an immersion heater was put in, so I assume that this is no longer in use.

My question is whether or not it's okay to remove it. There is a pipe running out of the wall and into the side of the empty tank but not knowing anything about plumbing I don't know whether this should all remain untouched or not.

Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks!

The pipe going out the wall is just an overflow and no problem to take apart and remove.
