epson printer problems

Put this in software realised it's in wrong place.
Bought a new printer for laptop, nothing but trouble so decided to go back to trusty epson stylus color 440, it doesn't have a usb port so I got a usb to ieee1284 36 parallel printer cable, installed using epson instructions but it won't work, epson say it doesn't work with this cable (I think they were trying to sell me new printer) Any ideas, I'd be grateful

Hello friend. There many possibilities. first check cable connect, and then check space in hard disk.

These cables don't always work correctly (as was mentioned in your previous post). You could buy a Parallel card for your PC.
