Only had my 98 zetec 1.6 cab for just over a month, a week ago i was driving at night and i noticed my headlights were out and my dash lights were off, my rev counter had dropped to 0. I was in third gear at the time and when i gave it some gas i got nothing, i dropped to 2nd gear and everything was back to normal after a few seconds of turbulance.
Well same thing happened again last night except the lights didn't come back on, luckily wasn't too far from home but it was aggresively jumping all the way and i couldn't go above 20mph.
Has anyone experienced similar or could give me a heads up on whats wrong?, my list of things to fix are growing and don't even know if i could get it to a garage. Hopefully its something i can fix myself.
