Expansion on upvc fascia capping.

I know you are supposed to leave a gap but have never heard of any problems. If it's white PVC, less chance of expansion.
You could cut expansion gaps in situ if you wish. Just pop off any cappings and replace with new cappings after cutting.
Theoretically, the likes of Eurocell probably wouldn't honour their guarantee if not fitted to they standard.
