Hi . I have a old shed on a existing slab that I want to replace with a new bigger shed. The current concrete base is 10’x6’ and I want to extend it to 10’x10’. The current slab is 7” high and beyond the front where I want to extend it is well established paving ... my question is where to start ? I do the shuttering but what hard core do I use ie old broken slabs bricks etc and can I go down on existing paving slabs or will I have to take it up before filling ... a lot of waffle but any help would be great as a novice but would like to do myself
