I want to fit one of these to my kitchen, there won't be enough room for the bottle underneath (due to dishwasher) so will it work ok if I extend the pipe (say 200mm)?

I don't want to be pumping it like an idiot but hopefully the extra pipe will be full of soap and it'll just work?

It should work. They rely on suction, it will just become slightly harder work pumping. Were it water, in theory, you could pump it up by 'suction'/creating a vacuum above it, upto 32 feet. You would need to ensure the extended pipe, was rigid enough not to collapse under the vacuum.

Should work fine , in the office loos we had pumps connected to gallon containers sitting on the floor to avoid constant filling. The ball bearing and spring mechanism keeps soap in pipework, we used flexi clear hose .

It's done, I did think it needs 2 pumps but I think there was just a bit of trapped air somewhere when I first tried it.
