Hi

I recently fitted a set of Wall Mounted Bath Filler Taps.

Were fitted in a stud wall using noggings. Then covered the wall with 18mm Marine Ply with cutout holes for the taps and filler.

Fitted bath and shower etc etc

Came to tile and found that when i tiled behind the taps i could no longer fit the chrome tap(hole) cover as the thread was too short on the tap outlet.

Does anyone know of a way i can extend these taps by about 10 or 15 mm's ?

Many thanks in advance

Mark

Thanks for the reply.

I already have the pipe collars, which are threaded. They go on fine with no tiles, but do not have neough thread left once the tiles and adhesive have been allowed for.

Perhaps i am making this more complicated than it actually is ?

Thanks in advance
