you'll probably have to join 2x2.5mtr hoses. an appliance spares outlet should have connectors but failing that a good plumbers merchant will have something to do the job.
make sure that your waste pipe has a fall good enough to stop too much water lying in it when not in use (preferably none), also make sure you leave acces to it to clear any blockages which may occur.
