Hi Folks

I'm getting a Extractor fan put in my Kitchen.
The only place to put it is on the wall 50cm to the left of the flue for my Combi bolier.

Does anyone know if this will cause a problem?

I've also read the min requirement for a kitchen is a 6" fan but also read that if you have a gas appliance you should get a smaller 4" fan as you could get a spillage with the faster extraction rate on the 6" fan.

Any advise will be useful as the blokes coming tonigh to install the fan.

Assuming it is a fan flue combi, you will need 300mm between the fan and the flue. If it is an open vent combi then the spillage test will have to be carried out and passed with the fan running on full speed.

Hi Dave

Thanks for the advise.

I've got a Vokera Linea 24 or 28.
Do you know if this is a fan flue combi or a open vent combi?

In addition to this how do you carry out a spillage test?

Cheers for your help guys.
Thats me sorted.

Lets hope the 6" fan fixes the condensation problem I had.
