Hi DIY fans,

Just wonder what the problem is?
From yesterday, my boiler (for both central heating and hot water) - Potterton Netaheat Electronic - has become unreasonable. It starts perfectly okay in the morning (cold start). But after few on and off - the boiler became hot, then it failed to re-ignite again - but the pump was still running & the gas still getting in. I switched it off now. Before I call boiler engineer, just wonder what the problem is?

Is it an expensive problem?? Please advice and help.

Could be many things and I recommend no DIY work on these boilers,so no specific information can be given as to how expensive it could be to fix.
Leave it to your Registered engineer.
