Morning guys. Looks like the seal's have failed on our window. Is it something that i could sort out myself or best to get someone in.

Would i need any special tools to do the work.
Cheers Doug

Ask around for your local plastic windows/patio doors repairman (there will be one).

By personal recommendation, not from an advertising website masquerading as a Trusted Recommender of Rated tradesmen.

It will depend on your area, but for me, it costs £50 to £100 per window and is not a complex job.

It should be an easy DIY job. You pull out the rubber gasket from the inside which loosens the beading on the outside which clips in under the edge of the frame. Take out the beading, measure the glass, order new, pop it in and reverse the procedure, tapping the gasket back in with a block of wood and a mallet. DGU will be about £20-£25ish.

hard to tell if that has a ' wedge gasket ' , foam security tape or even security clips ( all three are possible being glazed from the exterior ) . The only one potentially that could cause problems is the security clip.
