Farmers happy they got what they voted for

Cheval? I've never tried horse-meat. Have you? I'd imagine it's a wee bit like venison?

No not knowingly and I don’t want to try horse meat

Had venison and don’t like it

Don’t want duck either

I like Ducks and view them as pets

It is. All you need is a mouth. And a brain. ;)
And if farmers over here start doing the same to compete, what difference will it make if you know what country its from.

Lower standards. Is that what you wanted from brexit ?

How will I know if they are lying or telling me the truth?
Quite simply, if they are telling you verbally you won’t. Play it by ear. Use your own judgement depending on their response. Most decent restaurants will say something about where their produce is sourced on their website or menu. If you’re that worried, eat at home with pre-packaged meat from any supermarket where they will tell you where it’s from.

Easy. Don’t buy it if you don’t like it. Buy British.
Usual dumb brexer argument

conveniently ignores damage to British farming

but hey, we took back control so now we can destroy farming…and our rivers and our beaches

Farmers

Blimey they been spraying the country side with poisons for decades

Paid not to grow things
Cheap fuel
Less stringent planning permission
Cheap tax breaks
Loans

Gave every one a dose of BSE ?? From there **ss poor practices
One big gravy train for years imo

Yep, more Brexit misery thrust upon the UK.

Load of old shít.
Yeah, you best stick to your safe meat from the EU.

What, buying British? Get out of it. Nobody is forcing you to buy foreign meat.
Yet

We might not have much choice if standards are lowered. Our producers will either have to follow suit to compete, or stop. Very much doubt there will be a viable market.

Did you vote for lower standards ?
