I just dont believe it. They actually went and did it! F&B have put their prices up.
The economy must be booming in their particular corner of cloud cuckoo land.
Dont get me wrong. I love the stuff, I could almost drink it, but for goodness sake.
The price has been at the wrong end of many a comfort zone for some time but £32.50 for 2.5ltr and £58 for 5ltr of estate emulsion just about does it.

Oh well, no point bursting a blood vessel about it, but my local stockist who barely makes enough to pay herself a wage is going to feel it.

I think all the manufacturers have put their prices up. Johnstones flatt matt isn't a bad alternative to F&B and i really like little green which have some similar finishes. I think F&B could charge £100 a litre and certain types will still insist on it, it is nice paint and you cant beat the colours you get from natural pigments but their prices are very high, emulsion prices dont bother me to much as its always the client that has to pay for it but sometimes it is hard justifying prices when B&Q sell they're cr4ap so cheap and its hard getting across to the customer sometimes that cheap paint is a false economy

Nice site by the way, looks a lovely bit of gloss work on that staircase

Yes I agree Little green is good paint, I just find it hard to get my head around the colour chart because I am so used to pushing F&B colours. I can now get LG mixed locally, so may try and use more of it as It seems better value for money.

Thanks about the site. I use ipage as it is only a few quid a month, and is really easy to build and maintain. customer support is very good too. I keep it pretty up to date with stuff I am doing.
