I'm not sure i'd describe it as one of the greatest sites but you can't miss it on the way in to Salisbury. I always supposed it to be a copy of the more famous Uffington nag, although King Alfred has a strong claim to it.
Had to larf at a news item yesterday where two 'converts to the cause' were putting up flags: some dude in a cowboy hat and his new squeeze, who he described as a "right flagger".

He's the one I referred to in another post. He spouted stuff that did nothing but show how narrow-minded some of these flag folk are.
It's sad that we've got to this stage, however I lay the blame at our political parties who've been sh1te, utter sh1te at dealing with the migrant situation. Talk about inaction coupled with p1ss poor decisions.
Only now are they relenting and talking about maybe using disused airfields etc.
On here -- care to mention who you think they are.
I wonder if it is just the normal man woman on the street who have been to scared to stand up and be counted for fear of exactly what the rabid left on here have doing - like calling someone flag shaggers which is vile.

You could be incredibly surprised how wrong you could be on my stance about the whole issue. While I'm all for same sex relationships, the whole pride - wrapping yourself up in rainbow flags, colouring zebra crossing rainbow, having a whole Bristol bus permanently decked out in Pride livery - I find it OTT and going too far. Though I'm 100% behind the advances made over the last 50 years or so.
