FCU as a junction box?

Hi, I want to run power/lighting into my conservatory.

Inside the house there is a conveniently placed socket on a ring which I am going to tap into.

Am I right in saying I can run a single 2.5mm t&e from the ring main socket, through the wall (about 0.5m) into a fcu 13A fuse, then onto 2 sockets and another switched-fcu with a 3A fuse and 1mm t&e to a light fitting.

To keep things neater I’d ideally like to do:

spur from ring main socket through wall into fcu but have 2 cables coming out, 1 to a double socket and the other to a double socket that then feeds a switched-fcu for the light. Can the first fcu have 1 in and 2 out acting like a junction box?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Endecopt, is that a yes to using the nonswitched fcu as a junction box, feeding a socket and another socket with another fcu coming off it?

A man of few words, very helpful though. Thanks again.
