ferroli boiler rattling

Ferroli boiler is rattling. Two years old, worked fine u til now. I noticed when i turn the room thermostat off, the heating stays on. Could someone advise what the problem may be?

Sorry guys, its Fertech 31c, someone tells me its same as a ferroli. Whats happened now is the heating will not switch off. Ive turned down the room stat but heating stays on. Its been like this for a few days now. Any help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance

Hi guys, just an update. Heating would not turn off. Had an engineer out today, he pulled out the wire from room thermostat and central heating turned off. But about 30 mins after engineer left, rhe heating came back on, even though wire was disconnected on stat. So i bought the same thermostat and changed it.same problem, heating has a mind of its own, comes on itself and stays on. Sometimes when heating is on we get no hot water. I phoned engineer up and he said it may be the flow switch for hot water. He asked me to disconnect the flow switch when i get the chance and let him know what happens.

Does anyone have any advice on what may bethe fault?
