Ferroli modena 80 E problem.

Whenever the weather is windy my modena 80 E boiler clicks on and off. The flue is about 1 and a half metres long with two 90 degree bends. I'm unsure if there is a flue restrictor fitted or not.

sometimes wind effects flues quite a bit, air turbalance i believe its called.

Modenas are known to suffer from problems when they have a dirty flue. Time for a service

Thank you for the replies. If there is a flue restrictor fitted would this compound the problem?

Without looking at the MIs I dont know the exact flue requirements.

However most flue restrictors should not be fitted when there is any bend other than the one on top of the boiler!

The extra length of flue was added due to a kitchen extension. Would the restrictor be visible and what does it look like?

restrictor, if present, is inside, not visible unless you strip essential parts. corgi work
