Fibreglass mesh advice

Hi just having a extension put up not doing dob dab plaster board but having it rendered and plastered inside. Was wondering how to use the mesh? Builder is saying in-between the render and plaster but im not sure. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Also taking some internal walls back to brick on existing house how should it be applied In that situation? Thanks

Should it be used twice once in the plastering and once in the rendering?

Render is outside
Dot and dab plasterboard is inside.
I guess you are asking about the rolls of mesh used with external render?
There are sheet materials used outside but that's not plasterboard.
