Fill gaps in plaster coving...?

That's about 6 inches tall and there's about 3-4 metres to fill I'm guessing from when they changed the windows... ?

Right now I'm thinking the best idea is to try and find a piece of the right design and fill the gap, although my wife's old engineer grandfather would have fashioned his own router bits .........

There are companys out there that will re-produce moulding knifes if you take them a sample. They can get it spot on.
