Filling Between Blocks?

Hi All,

I am building a retaining wall in my garden, mostly out of leftovers from extension build. I plan on putting some steps in, but there is a triangular 150mm (ish) void inbetween blocks where the footings intersect. - slabs or blocks will be laid over the top to form the steps. Would a dollop or two of concrete be ok, or would it blow the blocks?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers, Paul.

Concrete won't blow the blocks but should any water freeze within any poorly filled gaps, then this might.
