Filling gaps around extractor

I recently had a new extractor fitted in my en-suite as the old one wasn't nearly powerful enough for a shower room with no window and the paint was coming off the walls and ceiling. The new was is an inline fan with a circular mounting on the ceiling whereas the old one had a larger, square mounting. There is a good bit of filling needs done now and I'm not sure the best way to go about it. There is actually one part that has a pretty big hole. Any tips on what to do/use would be gratefully received.

you can get a square adaptor plate with a round hole, or a grille, I think they usually come with the fan. In your case I wouldn't use expanding foam because it is very messy and will drip down on you.

Is yours 100mm, or bigger?

i've had an assortment of ducts and adaptor accessories from an extractor specialist in Surrey, I'll see if I can find their name, but I expect there is one near you or on ebay.
