My Vaillant condensing boiler manual says the pressure should be between 1 and 1.5 bar but my gauge is reading .75 bar. However, I can only turn one of the filling loop valves on - the one at the pressure relief valve.
Will increasing the pressure give an increase in output temperature at the radiators?

Don't touch the red buttoned pressure relief valve.

Phone your in staller and ask him why he didn't explain about toping up the system. You still have time it shouldn't cut out until .5 bar when enough sludge will have found it's way into delicate parts of the boiler to ensure plenty of future repair work for him.

Ask for a Magnaclean to be fitted while he's explaining himself.
