Hello,
I had a logburner installed into my fireplace but the fitter forgot to install the metal strap to support the brickwork and now doesn’t want to come back to fit it. Basically the back had been cut out of the fireplace to make it double sided but no support put in to keep the bricks up. What can I put in to support without messing with the stove installation? Thanks!

It's only 3 bricks at the front at risk - the rest are corbelled. (or maybe another couple - can't quite see the far side) I wouldn't do anything. If/as/when they drop out (they won't) you can deal with it then.

Ha, I had to Google corbelled. There’s 2 layers of bricks, I’ve included a couple more picks, guess it’s the same for the back layer too?
