Just a few bullet points

_ Buy cheap buy twice _

_Cleanse old system and use devices that keep the system clean_

_you'll need a corgi registered person to advise what type of boiler is suitable, (don't buy the boiler then call him in if you bought a non condenser and you don't score enough points he can't help you any further) decide position of flue and advise what energy conservation features have to be introduced because you are making a major change to the system, to do all the gas side (including pipe size) and take full responsibility for the position of boiler/ flue), to notify the job_

_you'll need a suitably qualified person to connect it to the household electrical supply, check on electrics UK for more detail_
