Hi,

We have a conventional boiler (Potterton Suprima 30) bought in 1999 fitted without a room thermostat but with the standard Potterton digital boiler stat.

There are 4 radiators in the system, a simplicity valve connecting the boiler to the hot water tank (valve shows two settings hotwater or central heating). Cold water tank in the loft, with an expansion tank.

Basically, we would be grateful for any guidance if it would be possible to fit an upgraded programmable timer to this system (just a modern digital timer that is able to switch the boiler on for three periods for the day rather than two). There is no programmable timer in the system currently except for the timer on the boiler already.

Is it possible to fit a new programmable timer to this system/boiler?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide,

Conrad
