Hi,

We currently have the Flash Immermat analogue timer and want to replace it with a digital one. The main reason being is that we want to programme the on/off times at different schedules depending on the day.

I was thinking of going for the Drayton LP722. Our boiler is a system boiler with a closed hot water tank.

My question is: From an electrical wiring perspective, is it going to be a like-for-like swap? Or is there more to it than this?

Not that simple, the flash immermat is a single channel timer for an immersion heater , but sounds like someone has wired it to your system boiler, the LP522 is a dual channel programmer so wiring will definately need upgrading and you may also require additional controls, zone valves etc
