i have removed the old ceiling rose there are three cables with three wires coming out of each cable, the three wires will not all go into the small holes in terminal block, how can i solve this

I assume you are changing the light fitting and not replacing the cables back into the ceiling rose.
It sounds like you have a loop in circuit. So what terminal connection are marked up on the fitting and have you followed the instruction with the new fitting, that's if we are fitting a new light?
It is likely that you will need a seperate terminal block for the line/live cables, this is not always supplied with new fittings.

Study the connections carefully.

Observe it's not a matter of joining all the blacks together, and all the reds together...

...or you may have blues and browns.

If it can be accessed in the future, join the three cables within a small 20 amp 4 terminal junction box, and from here run one new cable to the spotlight.

If the fitting is surface mounted and there is space, do the joint within the fitting using insulated connector blocks.
