Fitting diverter and pump to multifuel system

I want to fit a diverter and pump to my multifuel boiler but don't need a control unit or room thermo....

The idea is keep the water tank full of hot water then let the rads take over, when then HW tank cools or is used and cools less than 60 then want the HW to take priority.

Room thermos are not an option because we have solid fuel fires in every room ( romantic value ) it's an old cottage and exposed.

I have run the system through the HW but am thinking if I can heat the water and allow it to divert to CH more btu value will go to heating the home. Am I talking rubish or can it be done?

I was going to fit a HW tank stat to switch the diverter and a pipe stat to switch the pump on......

My idea was to have the pipe stat 1m away from the boiler attached to the flow pipe (28mm) it is on the other side of the inglenook wall so ambient temp from the boiler will not be a problem. The set up is in a y config. I was then going to fit a HW tank stat to switch the diverter. Is this correct?

Is there a certain distance to mount the pump and diverter away from each other?

Wpould I be right n thinking that I should fit the diverter on the flow to prevent a bild up of pressure if the diverter goes ape?

Any advice is welcome.
