Fitting internal French doors

We are wanting to fit a set of French doors to divide our open plan lounge/diner. The gap that is already there is about 2 feet larger than the frame. What is the best way of filling up the gap and then fixing the doors. Does anyone know of a book on the subject? Thanks everyone.

I have done one by buying another french door and cut in half to put it on each end to match the french door

It can look good with fixed lights at the side of the glazed doors.
