fitting my semi pedistal

hi their, this is my first time using this so bear with me please.
iam fitting my bathroom sink and i have if fixed to the wall perfect, but when ive came to fit the semi pedisal i dont quite know how this is to be done.
their are holes at either side of the pedistal but it dont seem to actually have a place for it to fix to and stay up, cam you solve thus problem plz.

Yeh it is like that but the screw holes in that pic face the wall and my holes face into the area where all the pipes are located?
 
You need some brackets , then, usually grey plastic, sort of about 85 degrees rather than 90. They should have come with it.
 
what basin is it or give us a pic ?
most like ideal standard etc are surported from the bolts that secure the basin to the wall, or by brackets as said.
