Hi all,

i have easy access to the lighting ring.

thanks in advance

Yes it is possible.
You need a feed that you can take phase, neutral and CPC(earth)
Cable that is suitable for current rating of circuit and environment that it will be routed.
If you look at Wiki Projects you will find some useful advice.
Not only on methods of installation, safety but also requirements and law.
I would start here to look at the configuration of the circuit you require.
http://www.diynot.com/wiki/electrics:lighting:single_way_lighting
http://www.diynot.com/wiki/electrics:lighting:parallel
Once you have had a good look at those and got some understanding on how this circuits works, come back and ask questions.
Otherwise you will get told off and hunted down by the big bad wolf
