Hello All,
Going to fit a gravity feed shower with a shower pump.
I have attached a sketch of my present hot cold water set up, I have left out the Central heating part.
I can see how to break into the cold water feed going direct to the shower, direct to the pump then back to the shower.
Is there anywhere I can break into the shower hot feed that will work instead of me having to make another feed from my hot water tank? (don't want to drill the HW tank if I can get away with it)
Thanks

Thanks for your answer.
So looking at the instructions you sent me could I tee off where the shower pipe leaves the expansion pipe, go vertical down to the pump then back up to connect back into the shower pipe.
I will have to measure but I'm not sure if I have the one meter distance from top of cylinder to tank, my cylinder in in an airing cupboard that is waist height.
The Salamander instructions talk about putting Air vents in because shower pipes go back to loft. Are they needed?

Text in the link. Hot water supply: The pump must be supplied with a dedicated feed direct from
the hot water cylinder or storage tank. We recommend the use of the Stuart top
flange Part No 27800.

There are many ways of connection, some good some not so good. If plenty of un-airated water get to the pump it will be fine. However if you T off vent in some manor and dont use a flange it increases the risk of failure.
