Hi All

I would like to fit a window in my basement. However this will be below the ground level but above the water table.

Could anyone please advise me on how the drainage works for this sort of thing, as the window will be fitted in a bay type space below the ground.

A bay window would be weatherproofed almost the same for one below ground as one above, however a protruding bay window above ground might suggest a mono pitch roof, whereas below ground level a lead/zinc flat roofed design would probably be more aesthetic for appearance...pinenot :)
