Hi,i have a baxi 105he boiler and yesterday because of a leak i replaced the gland nut and diaphragm. I made sure that the pin and spring were moving ok and screwed it all back together. However, the hot water now only works when the C/H is on. When the C/H is off i get no Hot water and the water LED stays off. I can flick the switch and water LED comes on but as soon as i release it it goes back off. The leak has gone but looks like ive damaged something. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If you open the hot tap does the pin move and activate the microswitch activating the boiler for hot water ? If not there is a problem at the diverter valve. If this was working before something isn't right.

The pin comes out slowly and JUST hits the switch, but the switch does click over. This happens when C/H is On and Off.

With the CH off.
Pin should really move out fairly quickly. When you open the hot tap and the pin hits the microswitch does the boiler fire?

Thanks for your help but managed to fix the problem. The pin was not making enough contact to push the contact strip back. Simple as that. I dont know why because i dont think i bent it in anyway but i have had to put a sticky pad on the contact strip for it to work. Thanks again for your time.
