Fixed Shower Head - With combi?

Hi,

I'm considering getting a Mira Combiforce 415 mixer valve to work with my Vaillant 831 ecotec plus Combination Boiler.

Ideally we want a fixed shower head coming down from the ceiling and are considering getting an 8" fixed shower head.

I've been recommended that i should not use that shower head with my combi boiler.

So been recommended to replace the Mira 415 for the Mira Discovery BIR with a wall mounted Fixed Head and replace the wall mount with the Hansgrohe Ceiling Mount tube.

What does everyone else think? is an 8" fixed head no good with a combi?

Seen several 8 inch fitted with no problem. I Have a 7 inch one myself which is perfectly ok on a 28kw combi and water delivery is more than enough.
Some of the heads although they have 1/2" connection they have a small hole within which is easily drilled out

I have a 6 inch head which gives a decent but not brill shower with my combi.

Think you will have to try it and hope you get enough flow to satisfy you.
