Apologies if this has been asked before but I can't find it. How do you fix the socket back boxes into concrete block? I have cut out and channelled the wall for the cables but find screw and plugging to be a pain. Do you use expanding foam or hardwall instead or is screw and plug best?

Screw and plug is best. Otherwise when you tighten the face fixing screws they can lever the box out.

I actually like to pack mine in with sand and cement too, but most people don't. This stops them moving about.

Thanks. I did wonder about them pulling out if not screwed. Screw and plug it is then.
